In 2011, RELYANT Global expanded its Environmental Services business line to incorporate International Waste Management and Disposal Services. In addition to its esteemed Munitions Response Program, RELYANT Global provides retrieval, containment, packaging, and disposal of hazardous waste and certain non-hazardous wastes, including on-site assistance in emergency first response clean-up efforts and the international transportation/disposal of waste products. These waste products include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Asbestos
  • AMF Insulation
  • Beryllium
  • Universal Waste
  • POL
  • PAH
  • Heavy Metals (Liquid/Solid)
  • Wooden Waste
  • PCB (Containing)
  • Concrete Waste
  • Sanitary Waste

This service line provides cradle to grave activities from sampling and inspection to ultimate disposal and processing. RELYANT Global’s hazardous materials identification/quantification process provides results in terms of data precision, accuracy, completeness, comparability and representativeness. RELYANT Global uses laboratory and sampling operations accredited through the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for Asbestos Bulk Identification.

In accordance with HAZWOPPER 29 CFR 1926.65, RELYANT Global provides Risk Mitigation Plans, Work Plans, and Project-Specific Implementation Plans. Additionally, RELYANT Global provides proven Quality Assurance (QA) Surveillance Program Plans (QASP) that define and document the QA and Quality Control (QC) activities of hazardous materials removal including Asbestos Control, Lead Paint Removal, and Universal Wastes. RELYANT Global remediates surface hazardous materials (i.e., asbestos, lead, silica) as mandated by US Standards AHERA and OSHA.

RELYANT Global’s successful track record in working with hazardous materials and asbestos abatement, even under the most austere conditions in hostile environments such as Iraq and Afghanistan, articulates our ability to handle the risks inherent in this industry.

Safety, training and logistical planning along with strict adherence to federal and local laws and regulations, such as Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), guarantee the repeatability of our success.

RELYANT Global is committed to achieving and sustaining “Zero Accident Performance” through continuous improvement practices. “Zero Accident Performance” includes zero non-permitted discharges or releases with respect to protection of the environment. RELYANT Global believes the success of the Zero Accident Performance Policy begins by supporting “integrated safety management” from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) down through the RELYANT Global Project Manager (PM) and Staff, and strives to create a workplace that is free of known hazards.

To ensure the safety of our team, as well as all other stakeholders impacted by our hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste remediation projects, RELYANT Global organically provides Board Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH) and Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) to ensure project health and safety operations are compliant with HS&E plans that thoroughly identify hazardous material risks, responsibilities, management systems, and accident prevention.

The plans also address procedures to minimize hazards to human health and the environment from fires,
explosions, and other unplanned emergencies. RELYANT Global rigorously adheres to OSHA, EPA, DoD, and Client
requirements.

Sound industrial practices are used as RELYANT Global plans and implements Environmental Services projects. Activities such as investigation, testing, mobilization, site prep and work control boundaries, deactivation, hazardous material abatement, stabilization, equipment and material removal, demolition, waste transportation, demobilization, and consulting are just some of the services we can provide.
