Maryville, TN, November 18, 2015. On November 18, 2015, RELYANT Global, LLC was awarded the $14,499,305 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of the ground support equipment (GSE) shops at North Ramp, Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, contract number N62742-16-C-1317, by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific contracting office. The contract contains one option period, which, if exercised, would increase the cumulative contract value to $14,876,045. Work will be performed in Yigo, Guam, and is expected to be completed by June 2018.
The RELYANT Global Team, which includes team member Contrack Watts, Inc., was awarded this design-build contract that includes the construction of a low-rise and high-bay composite facility with three separate components, a GSE maintenance shop and holding shed, an aviation armament shop, and an aviation life support systems shop. RELYANT Global is also responsible for the procurement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and electronic security system to allow for a fully functional, fully integrated, higher quality facility on Andersen Air Force Base.
This opportunity will serve as RELYANT Global’s first contract in Guam. RELYANT Global recently became a registered business entity in the US Territory and anticipates performing work under future contracts in the area.
