RELYANT Global, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution and completion of projects. The PM will have full on-site responsibility for completion of construction varying in size and manage planning, resource allocation, budget/fiscal, subcontract and contract administration, and business development. The PM reports to the Regional Manager / Chief of Party.

Essential Duties

  • Manage the successful delivery of assigned projects in accordance with agreed to cost, schedule, quality and safety performance metrics
  • Direct oversight / support of project personnel including the Superintendent(s), Project Engineer(s), Project Controller, Quality Control staff and Safety staff
  • Manage site studies, material, and method recommendations, cost estimates, reports, etc., as required during the development and implementation phases of this project
  • Manage preparation and update of the master project schedule, incorporating dates and times for company decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead time for fabrication and field installation time
  • Coordinate subcontractor work, including obtaining performance guarantees from subcontractors and enforcing project milestones
  • Prepare and submit a monthly project status report to the executive management team
  • Meet at regular intervals, or as required, with the Regional Manager / Chief of Party to review project milestones
  • Comply with company authority matrix when resolving project issues related to variance in scope, schedule, and budget
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of project contract and subcontract documents
  • Recognize, evaluate, and mitigate as appropriate, financial, safety, and construction execution risks
  • Resolve claims, cost overruns and subcontractor non-conformance to specification in a timely manner
  • Review all drawings and specifications for design deficiencies, impractical details, and code violations
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, safety, labor relations, Equal Employment Opportunity, and tax requirements

Required Experience / * Preferred Experience & Capabilities

  • A graduate of a four- year accredited college or university program in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science
  • U.S. Citizen with strong English speaking, writing, presentation skills
  • 10 years of extensive construction Project Management experience with vertical construction projects valued > $ 5M
  • Substantial prior experience as a Project Manager in areas of subcontract management, planning, resource allocation and contract administration
  • Prior experience with fiscal/budget responsibilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, P6, CMiC, Adobe, CADD and other project management software
  • Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check in order to gain entrance to military bases.
  • * Milcon / NAVFACMAR documented PM experience
  • *USACE / NAVFAC CQM Certificate – active
  • *EM385 / OSHA 40 Certifications
  • *CPR / First Aid Certifications
  • *Construction Management / Construction Estimating / Procurement training certifications
  • *Other Construction Experience, i.e. trades knowledge, inspector, supervisory, foreman, quality control and or safety position experience.
